New Jersey authorities have released traffic camera footage showing the moment a drink-driver narrowly escaped death.

No one was hurt in the dramatic crash when the driver hit another vehicle before slamming into a central barrier and knocking out a lamp post while in the air.

The motorist was arrested and charged with drink-driving. Officials released the video in hopes of encouraging safer driving.
