Scientists discover 'Antarctica' on Mars

NASA scientists have discovered ice sheets on Mars that look almost identical to those in Antarctica, it was revealed today.

High-latitude areas on the Red Planet have similarly patterned ground where shallow fracturing caused by freezing and thawing has drawn polygons on the surface.
